Bankhead Farm bed & breakfast and self-catering accommodation is about 15 miles from Edinburgh and sits about 650ft up in the Bathgate Hills in an idyllic location at almost any time of year.
Directions to Bankhead from Edinburgh Airport - Heading out from the airport, go straight through 2 roundabouts and under the A8 to head west on A8. Signposts are for Livingston or M8 M9
- At the Newbridge Roundabout take A89 Broxburn
- Keep heading west through 2 sets of lights and the viaduct arches. At the mini roundabout keep left towards Bathgate
- Straight through the traffic lights, roundabout and traffic lights
- At the large roundabout take right towards Dechmont / Uphall
- At the mini roundabout take left towards Dechmont and Beecraigs Country park
- Take first right as you enter Dechmont. The sign is Linlithgow and Beecraigs (you have approx. 1½ miles to go)
- Follow the winding road up the hill. Entrance is on a sharp right bend at the top of a hill Signpost B&B
- Follow the farm track and enter the yard/car park
