Bankhead Farm bed & breakfast and self-catering accommodation is about 3 hours from the Scottish Borders.
Directions to Bankhead from the South - Head for M8 (Motorway between Edinburgh & Glasgow)
- Follow the signs for Edinburgh M8 as soon as you see them
- Junction 3 Livingston (East) is your exit. This is the second turnoff for Livingston from the Glasgow side. Do not take Junction 3a.
- At the roundabout with the arch head for Broxburn A899. It may also be signposted for Edinburgh A8
- At the next roundabout go straight through to Dechmont/ Beecraigs Country Park
- At the mini roundabout take left towards Dechmont and Beecraigs Country park
- Take first right as you enter Dechmont. The sign is Linlithgow and Beecraigs (you have approx. 1½ miles to go)
- Follow the winding road up the hill. our entrance is on a sharp right bend at the top of a hill
- Signpost B&B.
- Follow the farm track and enter the yard/ car park
