About Us
We are a friendly family run Guest House sitting high in the Bathgate Hills, with panoramic views in all directions.
Converted to a high standard the farm buildings offer a comfortable place to stay. As well as fantastic views of the Pentland and Ochil Hills you can gaze over the Forth to Fife.
Bankhead is situated in the quiet countryside but less than 10 minutes from the large towns of Livingston, Linlithgow, and Broxburn. Thirty minutes can take you to Edinburgh, Glasgow or Stirling. Public transport is over a mile away so a car is essential.
Sustainability is at the heart of Bankhead Farm. We are organic and to date have planted more than 100 acres of trees. Our heating is sourced from a biomass boiler and solar panels provide much of the electricity. Breakfast items are sourced locally wherever possible.
Our Rooms
All rooms are en-suite with Freeview TV. There are a selection of single, double, twin and family rooms available. Tea and coffee is available. All the bedrooms are heated by our biomass boiler with temperature control in each room.

Directions
Take Junction 3 on M8 then head towards Broxburn. At the next roundabout go straight through for Dechmont. At the mini roundabout take left for Dechmont and Beecraigs country Park. As you come towards Dechmont take first road on right towards Linlithgow. Follow this for 1.75 miles and you will see our sign at the top of a hill on a sharp right hand bend. Follow the farm track to Bankhead
We are 1.5 miles to the North of Dechmont.
